Stocking Your Designer Bags
Thursday, July 23rd, 2009Whether you bought those designer bags retail or wholesale, fact remains that you need to have a system for storing them so you can easily retrieve what you want to use for the day. In other words, organize those bags. You’ll find that this not only makes it easier for you to get the one that matches your outfit perfectly. Giving those bags the right amount of air and space among each other also helps lengthen their lives. These bags are precious and you’ll only want to give them precious treatment.
When you have a growing collection, it pays to have them by a structure. For example, you may decide to arrange them by size. The smallest goes to the left and the biggest to the right of your cabinet. This way, you know instantly where to look if you’re needing a tiny little thing for a gala event or one of those giant bags that celebrities are known to carry around on an anything-can-happen coffee-while-people-watching day.
Or you may also arrange them according to the occasion or non-occasion that you may need them for. Instead of arranging them by size, you can have them in groups. Say, for a casual dinner, you can have these bags on one side and for formal dinners, you can have those on the other side. When you organize them this way, you can also arrange according to favorites. Among your formal dinner bags, for example, you can put your Burberry, which you adore the most, on the left and then move on to put the others towards with decreasing favoritism.
Yet another way of organizing your designer bag collection is by designer. Get all your Fendis here, your Pradas there. Or if your collection is simply that big, you can get a place for each designer. And then you can match those bags with their corresponding designer shoes. All that designer power!
Whether you fancy leather, beaded, embroidered or any other type of designer bag, you will always want to put them in a place where they could breathe. That means it’s always better to put the bags in open shelves instead of closets so they could get all the air they need. Or a great idea would be to have these bags hanging coat stands. One coat stand per designer, perhaps, or by favorites. It really doesn’t matter how you organize your bags as much as the fact that you actually organize. With a system in place, everything’s easier to pull out and choose from depending on the mood you want to create or simply the type of occasion you need a bag for.
If you think your designer bag collection couldn’t possibly get that big as to need a structure for them, think twice. Wholesale designer bag dealers sell genuine stuff for upto 75% off their retail prices, so there’s a good chance that collection’s going to get bigger. And these are definitely not fakes. In fact, there are only a few designer bag wholesalers you can check out. So judge for yourself and be amazed.
